Jeudi 26 juin, et ce jusqu’au 29, ont lieu les défilés parisiens des collections masculines printemps-été 2009. A cette occasion, le Journal du Textile publie sonclassement des créateurs de mode masculine les plus « talentueux », issu des votes d’un panel de 50 acheteurs pointus du secteur de la mode. Kris Van Assche, créateur belge et successeur d’Hedi Slimane chez Dior Homme, arrive en tête du classement.
La maison Dior Homme est suivie par Dolce & Gabbana, puis par Paul Smith, qui complète le top 3. Dsquared et Lanvin arrivent respectivement 4è et 5è. La ligne Lanvin Homme, dessinée par Lucas Ossendrijver, fait la plus forte progression.
